Plymouth Hoop Academy is proud to offer the Academic Scholarship Program, recognizing student-athletes who demonstrate dedication both in the classroom and on the court! This opportunity is designed to reward athletes who value education, leadership, character, and teamwork!

Eligibility Requirements
Applicants must:
-
Be entering 6th-8th Grade
-
Maintain a C+ average or higher
-
Be actively involved in basketball
-
Display strong character, leadership, and teamwork
Essay Requirements
2 Paragraphs (4-6 sentences each)
#1 — Education
Applicants must write an essay explaining:

Why education is important to them
-
How education impacts their future
-
What motivates them to succeed academically
#2 — Team Morals & Values
Applicants must write about:

Their team morals and values
-
What being a good teammate means to them
-
How they demonstrate leadership, respect, and accountability
Submission Requirements
Applicants must submit:

Full name, grade, and school

A copy of their most recent report card or progress report

Vision
The purpose of the Plymouth Hoop Academy Academic Scholarship Program is to recognize and reward student-athletes who show dedication both in the classroom and on the basketball court while promoting leadership, teamwork, character, and personal growth. This scholarship was created to encourage young athletes to value education, maintain strong academic effort, and positively represent their teams, schools, and communities through strong morals and values.
